Definitely stay here and walk to the El Rancho. Comfiest bed of my entire trip. Beautiful and colorful decorations throughout hotel, very inviting. Friendly staff at breakfast and a warm and helpful welcome from the front desk. Shower had hot water and good pressure. Wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the pool and fitness center.

Nice hotel! Both of the front desk gals were awesome! Really enjoyed the stay. The location was a little sus...but is right next to the police department. Was disappointed to be charged a late check out fee - never had that happen - crazy!

From check in through my entire stay, everything was great! I believe the woman's name was Darnell (?) at the desk was super helpful and friendly. Welcomed me as a member and gave me my water! The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Everything worked as expected. Breakfast was the best I have had on my week-long trip cross country. Hot, fresh, tasty and a good selection. Weekly menu board so you know what to expect. Coffee and hot/cold water in the lobby 24/7. 100% recommend this Best Western to anybody traveling through Gallup.

CLEAN, QUIET! The service we received by everyone was pleasant even from the housekeeping staff who do not normally interact much with customers. I was surprised by this hotel. We don't normally stay with Best Western. What a great surprise. We couldn't find a room in Albuquerque so kept driving. We got checked in late and had a great night sleep. The beds were also very comfortable. THANK YOU!

This is a 5 X 2 star rating. We travel a lot and had spent several nights in hotels. This is by far the friendliness and cleanest place we have stayed. The breakfast has a phenomenal selection of foods that tasted great. We will definitely stay here again and recommend to everyone we know who will be staying in Gallup.

This may be the best hotel in the area. It looks like they have recently put new carpet in and everything is clean. It didn’t smell of smoke like so many places you stay in. Food was good with a nice variety. Staff was friendly. The shower was very nice with good water pressure and a nice shower head and hand held shower sprayer. Next time we need to remember our swimsuits to use their indoor pool and spa.

This BW has been of the best we stayed at. The staff are all very friendly, the room is spacious and clean, the shower is great - and the breakfast buffet is one which deserves the name. And the coffee machine with so many different things to choose from (Lattes, Cappuccino, Moccas, etc.) is great! What we also observed is that all the staff (cleaning, front desk, workers etc.) can help themselves at the breakfast buffet which is great! Less food waste & appreciation of the employees!

A+++ Absolutely love this hotel, our third stay and a favorite... never an issue. Rooms are large, bed, linens and towels fresh and crisp. Pool and hot tub super clean and operational. Breakfast is always a hit, this visit they had two breakfast sandwiches pre-made... the salsa Verde was soooo delicious. Great coffee machines, espresso etc... and snacks. I FINALLY found a BW location that you can buy the pillows, lol...

We've stayed at this hotel several times. It's always clean and comfortable. The staff friendly. The included breakfast is usually very good, better than some other comparable hotels. The location is very convenient if you are traveling on I-40. Of course, being along the old US-66 route is nice, too.

Passing through with family on our way to OKC. I chose this BW Plus since it was the half way point on our way to and from. The location is a few minutes off I-40 and close to several fast food options. Plenty of parking and it was a fairly new BW Plus, so it was well lit and clean inside. The reason I am giving 4 stars is because they did not reserve the type of room I booked. I made these reservations back in April (2025). When I arrived for the first night, I was told the room had been given away (?), but there was another available on a higher floor. We had requested a room on the bottom floor with a sofa bed. On the return home, we checked in for our next stay and again, I was told the room we reserved was no longer available. I had checked in this time on the app and reminded them I needed a sofa bed. Fortunately, there was an ADA jr king suite available, so I paid to upgrade, which was only $9. The room was great and after 10 hours on the road, the extra room was well needed. Overall, experience was good, but I don’t understand why our rooms were not held despite being booked months in advance. I’ve included a photo of my reservation confirmation.
